With over 136 departures every day & carrying in excess of 18 million passengers per year nothing is more critical than our safety. As a vital member of the East Coast team you will play a key role in delivering the East Coast Business strategy. You will be responsible for: Continuing to develop our culture of safety & environmental by excellence delivering safe, high quality cost effective train operations; Ensuring policies, processes & systems are adhered to; Ensuring East Coast remains compliant in both internal & external requirements and audits; Deliver initiatives throughout the business to ensure the sasfety & environmental awareness of all our staff & customers. You will require a minimum of five years experience in a similar role within rail or a high hazard industry, CMIOSH status & an environmental qualification, the ability to deliver to deadline on projects & KPIs.
